Tyz

Antonia was interested in art from an early age being brought up in an artistic environment. Her mother was a painter and her father was a photographer. She studied under the tutelage of several local artists during her childhood. After high school, she attended Eastern Connecticut State University and Silvermine Guild of Art in New Canaan, Ct. Creative influences have been any artwork that has stimulated her imagination. Salvador Dali and Georgia O'Keefe were favorites from earliest memory.

She has become versatile through experimentation in different mediums, but prefers to work in oil paint and pastel. Antonia has taught art classes for children and adults for over ten years. She is continually involved in commission works throughout New England. She exhibits at Charlestown Gallery and Complements Art Gallery in Warwick, RI. She uses her birth name, Tyz, as her signature.
